Overview

The Aveho application allows users to send personal invitations to family members or trusted contacts (estate sale manager) to participate in a private event within the app. Invitations may be sent via SMS message.

SMS messages are sent only when a registered user of the application chooses to invite someone by entering their phone number.

Users can add a maximum of 20 participants to an event. The average is 3-5. There is no way to add more recipients or trigger additional SMS messages.

User MUST verify that the Guest (the person being invited) has given explicit permission to receive this invitation via SMS. The user is blocked from sending the invitation until the this validation is confirmed in the app. See screenshots below:

How Phone Numbers Are Used

Phone numbers are used for only one purpose: To send a one-time invitation message to allow a guest to join a private event on the Aveho app.

The SMS message will include:

  • The name of the person who sent the invitation
  • A link to view or join the event
  • Notice that this is the ONLY SMS message they will receive for this event.
  • Instructions for opting out of future messages

Consent

By submitting a phone number, the user of the Aveho app confirms that they have obtained the recipient’s explicit consent to receive a one-time invitation message related to a specific event.

Messages are transactional and invitation-based, not marketing or promotional messages.

Message Frequency

Recipients receive only one SMS invitation message per event invitation. All future notifications will occur in-app. No further SMS messages will be sent to that recipient.

Opt-Out

Recipients may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying:

STOP

No additional SMS messages will be sent, either before or after the STOP message is received.

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s mobile carrier plan.
